Danfoss Climate Solutions Live in partnership with elemental: The Path to Net Zero

Elemental is excited to announce Danfoss Climate Solutions Live in partnership with elemental: The Path to Net Zero, a new, online event taking place from 15^th – 17^th June 2021.

We’re looking forward to engaging in some meaningful discussions on how we work towards the UK climate goals and bringing our solutions and products to life with Danfoss Climate Solutions Live. It’s also the perfect opportunity for us to launch our latest whitepaper that focuses on the challenges and some of the possible solutions in ensuring offices, data centres and apartment buildings are able to contribute to a more sustainable future.

There will be plenty of opportunities to get involved, with online panel discussions, product demonstrations and an exciting new virtual product showcase.

Themes for the panel debates include on June 15^th at 15:00 – Sustainability for commercial offices – ‘Can smart buildings help companies keep their promises on sustainability?’

This discussion will question to what degree smart buildings and intelligent technologies can deliver energy-efficient low-carbon solutions that help businesses keep their climate promises and at the same time provide high-performance people-centred workspaces.

We’ll look at data centres on June 16^th at 13:00 – with Data Centres: Sustainability & Reliability ‘Is cooling the hot topic for data centres in the digital age?’ In a time of Climate Emergency, the energy consumption of power-hungry data centres and associated heat generation are key environmental impact factors.

This panel debate will explore the technologies available, plus rate of innovation and scale of implementation required to help tackle both the data demand and the climate crisis in a way that is truly resilient — both operationally reliable and environmentally sustainable.

We’ll also be talking about Renovation: LAs, HAs & Climate Emergency with the session ‘Can we retrofit our way out of a climate emergency in housing?’ on June 17^th at 15:00. This debate will discuss the opportunities and challenges involved in renovation and retrofit of existing housing stock, in particular multi-family housing.

As well as live discussions and the virtual product showcase, the event will also take a look at how Danfoss are working towards their sustainability targets and how best to comply with regulations and policy in the race to reach Net Zero.
