OVO customers can bank five FREE solar panels – around half the panels required for the average home –to be redeemed when they invest in an OVO solar and battery package in the future.
Customers can sign up to the solar offer in the OVO app and can start to ‘bank’ solar panels. Over a period of two years Beyond customers can accrue up to five solar panels, which can be redeemed against an OVO solar and battery package within three years.
The offer is also transferable to a new property, opening up solar to current renters too.
OVO’s Beyond reward programme, described as the UK’s first Energy Savings Account has seen nearly half a million customers sign up since its launch in May. It unlocks up to £1,500 of savings and discounts on selected partner products and services. In addition to banking free solar panels, diesel and petrol car drivers could also bank thousands of EV miles to power their future electric car. Similar incentives to redeem against air source heat pumps will be rolled out by OVO later this year.
