UKGBC is currently undertaking a major project to explore potential routes for a net zero carbon buildings verification scheme in collaboration with wider industry bodies. Verification will ensure robustness to net zero claims and will help catalyse industry-wide transformation of our built environment. It is, therefore, vital that market analysis is conducted to ensure any proposal delivers a scheme that will genuinely work for the industry.
To survey will allow UKGBC to better understand the market drivers, expectations and characteristics for a potential net zero carbon buildings verification scheme. The results of this survey will inform next steps to be undertaken later in 2021.
The survey is open to feedback from built environment stakeholders across the full value chain, and life-cycle of a building. This includes investors, developers, advisory services, contractors and their supply chain, and any users of buildings (owners, landlords, tenants).
It will take 10 minutes to complete and the deadline for completing the survey is midnight Monday 19th July.
