EQUANS has been awarded funds from the Government’s Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) on behalf of Rochdale Borough Council.
The PSDS provides grants for public sector bodies to fund heat decarbonisation and energy efficiency measures. EQUANS supported Rochdale Borough Council with its application for PSDS funding and will now undertake energy efficiency work across the borough, with decarbonisation work planned for 17 public buildings including schools and leisure centres.

These decarbonisation projects on our public buildings and schools are part of our commitment to meet our target to achieve carbon neutrality by 2038.
