A new trade body – Thermal Storage UK – has launched, to promote the use of thermal storage in buildings to achieve net zero.
The founding members are Caldera, Sunamp and Tepeo, and Tom Lowe is founding director.
Caldera is a climate tech start-up – makers of the Warmstone heat battery; Sunamp‘s range of heat batteries for the residential market provide a low-carbon alternative to traditional hot water cylinders; and Tepeo‘s Zero Emission Boiler (ZEB) combines electric heating with ultra-high-density dry core thermal storage.
