InstallerSHOW and the Local Net Zero Hubs forge alliance for 2024 event
InstallerSHOW and elemental are delighted to be once again working with the Local Net Zero Hubs programme as part of our 2024 event, taking place 25 to 27 June at the NEC in Birmingham.
The Local Net Zero Hubs programme will have a dedicated area at the show to showcase its work to support the Net Zero agenda in England, and will be hosting meetings with key stakeholders. The Hubs will also be involved in some of the panel discussions taking place within the elemental theatres.
Michael Gallagher, Head of Midlands Net Zero Hub, , said:
Last year the Midlands Net Zero Hub attended InstallerSHOW, and we are really looking forward to returning this June to represent the national Local Net Zero Hubs programme. We are keen to connect with stakeholders from local authorities and industry experts who could work with us to accelerate progress to achieve Net Zero.
It’s so important that efforts to reach Net Zero are collaborative. We cannot do this alone and so these types of event are vital to finding joint solutions and working together.
The Local Net Zero Hubs programme is made up of five regional Hubs: North West Net Zero Hub, North East and Yorkshire Net Zero Hub, Midlands Net Zero Hub, South West Net Zero Hub, and Greater South East Net Zero Hub. It is funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero as part of the government’s clean growth strategy.
Lucy Dixon, Head of Content at elemental, said:
We’re so impressed with the work carried out and supported by the Local Net Zero Hubs and we can’t wait to learn more about it and share that knowledge with visitors to the show in June.
InstallerSHOW 2024 will feature 600+ exhibitors, with technologies and solutions on display from across the energy, water, heat and air industries.
There will be experts on hand to explain how these solutions might fit within building retrofit projects and newbuild schemes, and help to overcome the challenges facing the built environment as it strives to meet carbon reduction targets.
There is also an extensive content programme, with two specialist elemental theatres focused on decarbonising – the elemental Arena, sponsored by Heat Geek and the elemental Housing Hub.
