OVO has launched OVO Solar with a full package offering solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, batteries, inverters and an anytime Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) rate.
Without the SEG tariff, people who buy solar panels, batteries and inverters through OVO can save more than 90% on electricity bills.
At 20p per kWh, the anytime SEG tariff is available to customers signing up to the full OVO Solar package. It means they can consistently earn the highest export rate for the excess solar energy they sell back to the grid, at any time of day.
With a plan to roll out OVO Solar nationwide by the end of the year, the new package is initially launching in the South West of the UK and Wales.
