Three reasons why social landlords should come to InstallerSHOW

elemental returns to InstallerSHOW this month, and there are THREE big reasons why social landlords should join us.

There will be so much to see at the show – running 27th to 29th June at the NEC – including panel discussions, workshops, and innovative exhibitors, for those tasked with decarbonising the built environment, and we have a particular focus on housing retrofit this year.

Delegates can see hundreds of exhibitors showcasing a range of retrofit solutions, from heat pumps and solar PV to water-saving showers and EV charging infrastructure – all created to cut carbon and energy bills, while making homes more affordable and comfortable for all.

Three of the main highlights at the show for housing professionals, aimed at helping with decarbonisation and energy efficiency goals, are:

1.The elemental Housing Hub, featuring the NHIC Home Upgrades conference

The content in the Housing Hub runs throughout the three days of the show, with speakers from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, as well as housing associations such as Orbit Group and Midland Heart. We also have former housing minister Esther McVey joining a panel discussion about getting homes net zero ready.

We will have experts covering increasing the take-up of heat pumps, competence in the repair and maintenance sector, tackling fuel poverty, the retrofit journey for consumers, maximising energy-efficiency funding and getting retrofit right first time. Other speakers in this theatre include Energy UK, Sustainability West Midlands, Arup, E.ON and DG Cities.

2. Net Zero by Design

This theatre is back for 2023 and is once again being delivered by BEAMA. Featuring guidance from the organisation’s thought leaders, attendees can hear the latest from expert speakers and discover new approaches and technologies.

If you’re responsible for finding solutions to difficult net zero challenges, these sessions will offer guidance and a wealth of invaluable peer-led information.

3. Networking opportunities

One of the best things about face-to-face events is getting the chance to make connections, whether that’s with other housing professionals, or the wider industry. Visitors to InstallerSHOW will have plenty of opportunities to talk to others who are also on a decarbonisation journey, to share ideas and knowledge and develop relationships for collaboration.

There are several networking events taking place throughout the show, and also on some key exhibition stands – such as the Midlands Net Zero Hub and the Heat Pump Ready area. Make sure you head to the elemental lounge on Wednesday 28th June at 4pm for networking drinks.

If share your attendance at the show on social media in advance, making sure to tag us in, then you’ll even be able to network with other visitors, speakers and exhibitors before the show starts.
