Video shows commercial boiler cascade can be achieved in 90 minutes

Manufacturer Ideal Heating Commercial has produced a step-by-step video to demonstrate the advantages of a boiler cascade – installing a three-boiler configuration in just an hour and a half.

The six-minute videos feature time-stamped steps showing the installation of its Evomax 2 commercial wall-mounted boiler., from assembling the frames and mounting the boilers; through to making the connections; and fitting the pumps, headers kits, insulation and hydraulic separation.

Installing boilers in a cascade offers several benefits over fitting one larger boiler – including a high turn-down; easier access to challenging install areas; and providing a good space-saving solution. However, it can also be more time-consuming.  That’s why more and more installers are opting to use our prefabricated frame and header kits, which can save several hours.

Ideal Heating Commercial says it offers low-height and standard frame and header kits to suit all plantrooms, along with a range of accessories, including hydraulic separation, designed and manufactured in the UK.  The manufacturer has online cascade configurator tools available for Evomax 2 and Imax Xtra 2.
