Altecnic awarded silver accreditation as part of the ‘Investors in People’ framework
Altecnic – supplier of hydronic solutions – has been recognised again for its commitment to its employees with the Investors in People (IIP) Silver award.
After previously being awarded the prestigious accreditation in Bronze, the company devoted time to engage with employees and make their working life even more satisfying to achieve the silver accreditation.
Assessors were extremely impressed with the time and effort Altecnic had put in to understand the framework and pushing the boundaries to always achieve more for their people. Through dedication to employee satisfaction, they were not only able to achieve the silver accreditation in all aspects of the criteria, but they were also able to achieve gold in some of these areas.
Managing Director, Gary Perry, and HR Manager, Lesley Bateman, were presented with the iconic IIP plaque by representatives of the organisation managing the UK’s premier accreditation for business improvement through people management.
The presentation itself followed a thorough assessment of nine key areas of the business, including delivering continuous improvement, building capability, leadership, managing and rewarding performance and employee empowerment, and the company’s results were said to be above industry average.
On receiving the accreditation, Gary Perry commented, ‘Our employees are the backbone of Altecnic and by achieving the next level of this accreditation we are able to demonstrate our continued commitment to our people.’
Lesley Bateman added, ‘It is clear that the business has embraced Investors in People, with our culture shifting and everyone working collaboratively to make Altecnic successful.’
Lesley continued, ‘The Altecnic Team have developed massively through bringing their new ideas forward, supporting each other and demonstrating that we can get through unprecedented times together. This accreditation has highlighted all the hard work our Team have done, and continue to do, to make Altecnic the best it can be.’
